End of an era! Another relic of India's first railway gone! This was at Sewri station, Harbour Branch, Mumbai!
For the record. This was demolished on Sunday March 4, 2018.
I grew up in Sewree and would always read the inscription on the iron pillar while waiting for my train. During my recent visit to Mumbai felt sad that the overbridge has been demolished. Hope CR has preserved the pillars at least for posterity!
